SOCIAL SECURITY BOARD MAKES CONTRIBUTION TO HATS & HEELS
On March 1st, 2017, the Social Security Board made a contribution of US$500.00 to Hats and Heels, towards the hosting of the organization's first initiative of a Women's Empowerment Brunch to be held on Sunday March 5th, coinciding with the commencement of Women's Week 2017.
The Social Security Board's contribution categorized the institution as a Gold Sponsor of the event. The event was an inspirational lunch with local and regional guest speakers who explored the mission of Hats and Heels. The speakers focused on women empowerment, healthcare, culture and entrepreneurship. Hats and Heels is a non-profit organization whose mission is "women empowering women" through trust, passion, investment and commitment.
Social Security supports the organization's belief that in order to create an environment where women in our community can lead safe lifestyles, a women's hotline is only imperative. Hats and Heels will be the facilitator for application of the women's hotline with all local networks, hiring and training of facilitator, installation and facilitation of a phone system and the maintenance.
Social Security Board wishes to congratulate Hats and Heels on a successful first event.
