SOCIAL SECURITY WEEK 2018 A SUCCESS
Social Security Week 2018 was observed by the Anguilla Social Security Board for the period 28th October - 3rd November, under the theme Social Security: Supporting a Culture of National Resilience
.
A schedule of activities was planned and organized in observance of the Week. These activities included:
- Church Service on October 28th
- Radio Address by the Hon. Chief Minister and Minister of Social Security, Mr. Victor Banks on October 29th
- Radio Addresses by the Chairman and Director of the Board, Mr. Sean Richard and Mr. Timothy A. Hodge, on October 30th and 31st respectively
- Self-Employed engagements with the Taxi Drivers and Farmers on October 31st
- Social Security/UWI Open Campus Distinguished Lecture, presented by Mr. Jeremy Collymore, on November 1st
- Residents of Senior Citizen Homes Luncheon on November 2nd
- Health Walk and Radio Quiz on November 3rd
The Social Security Week of Activities was a success. This would not have been possible without the support and assistance of all who were involved. The Board wishes to acknowledge its gratitude to all who made the Week a success.
