Anguilla Social Security Board Supports the ATB's Extraordinary Eats - Chefs Extraordinaires Event
The 'Arts' in all its varying forms is a critical element of a nation's cultural heritage, and the Culinary Arts is no exception. As a major supporter of Anguilla's cultural heritage, the Social Security Board recognizes the importance of the Culinary Arts to our main industry - Tourism, and its valuable contribution to our local economy. Hence, the Board found it fitting to support the grand finale of the ATB's Extraordinary Eats initiative, held on Saturday, 27th April at da'Vida's Restaurant in Crocus Bay. This event was in support of the national Culinary Team and highlighted three young Chefs Extraordinaires: Kerth Gumbs, Tarisa Reid and M'Tima Daniels, who have done themselves, their families and Anguilla proud internationally.
The Board wishes to congratulate the ATB and the Anguilla Culinary Team on this amazing initiative and wish the team great success as it represents the island at the upcoming 'Tastes of the Caribbean 2019' - Culinary Arts Competition. We look forward to the Team doing Anguilla proud, as usual, and bringing home the gold.
